This page is intended to provide some information and free resources to people preparing for English language Tests especially TOEFL(test Of English as a Foreign Language) and IELTS(International English Language Testing System). IELTS is required mainly by Australian, Canadadian, Kiwi and British institutions while TOEFL is required mainly by American institutions.

About IELTS test

There are two types of tests(Modules):

You need to take only one module depending on requirement of the institution you are interested in.

But in general,

Test Structure(Both Academic and General Training Modules)

The first three modules - Listening, Reading and Writing - must be completed in one day. The Speaking Module may be taken, at the discretion of the test centre, in the period seven days before or after the other Modules.

Interpretation of tset Results

There are nine bands with 9 meaning Excellent and 0 meaning Did not take the test.Check which band is required by the institution you are interested in.
